Here is a list of all the projects I have completed as a part of my engineering coursework highlighting my expertise and skills.

Aranyani: Adaptable Bladeless Disc Wind Turbine

  • Designed and fabricated a uniquely shaped wind turbine that is more efficient than conventional wind turbines.
  • The unique design gives it the ability to generate electricity at low wind speeds and low elevation, requiring a low starting speed.
  • Performed tests that validate the higher efficiency of the disc-shaped design of the wind turbine.

Achievements:

  • Patent granted for the design in 2024: IPI Patent No. 517358, Application No. 201921004276.
  • Published paper in IJSER in March 2018 edition. (ISSN 2229-5518).
  • Won first prize in the Smart India Hackathon, under the category of rural technology.
  • Secured a grant from VentureWell under the category of the E1 Stage Innovator Program.
  • Secured a grant from IITR-TIEDS under the TIDES Accelerator Program 2019 cohort 1.

Modernized Version of Cooking Website

  • Improved user experience and interface of a cooking website, using Figma to make it clutter-free, user-friendly, and beginner-friendly, improving satisfaction by over 60%.
  • Integrated AI and smart features into the website to make it quick and personalized for all users based on their preferences.
  • Integrated options to add delivery services API into the app to make the ordering process 23% faster and more efficient.

Process Book for Tele-Medicine Website

  • Created Service Blueprints, Mind Maps, and Empathy Maps for a telemedicine app designed to reduce delays in patient care and increase efficiency by over 20% for doctors, utilizing tools like Miro.
  • Systematically organized the entire process of a user journey and steps to make the entire appointment more than 50% faster.

Statistical Analysis of Fitness Data from Smartwatch

  • Conducted statistical analysis on R- programming: analyzed work environment ergonomics involving 9 independent variables.
  • Established a correlation between various factors of physical activity: evaluated the ergonomic efficiency of the workspace.

Development of 4-Axis Soccer Robot

  • Led a team of 12 member to design and control a soccer robot using SolidWorks, Arduino Uno and control modules.
  • Used various methods of fabrication including 3D printing, machining and dissimilar material joining to fabricate the robot.
  • Implemented low latency low power Bluetooth communication for robot control using smartphone application.

Design, Analysis, and Optimization of Scooter Deck

  • Designed a scooter, using NX, & performed stress and bending analysis on the deck, using ANSYS, and improved its design.
  • Optimized the design fusing modeFRONTIER and VisualDOC: reduced stresses by 85% resulting in weight and cost reduction.

Multifunction Robot for Fault Detection in Pipelines

  • Developed an Arduino-based robot to travel inside pipelines to detect faults or cracks with reference to the starting point.
  • Calibrated infrared sensor responses for detecting cracks in the pipe: successfully demonstrated conceptual prototype.

Achievements

  • The project was selected in Transform Maharashtra under the category of Sustainable Urban Development.
  • Published a paper in IJSER in February 2017 edition. (ISSN 2229-5518).
